Start a New LLC Today!

No matter the reason for closing your LLC or corporation, the process for shutting down an entity in a compliant manner is known as dissolution. You can dissolve your own entity, but we strongly prefer enlisting the assistance of a professional. On the other end of the scale, you could hire an attorney to dissolve your business, but this can be extremely expensive.

Our preferred route is to hire a reputable dissolution service (which many of the top LLC filing websites offer). These companies can prepare and file your dissolution documents with the state, taking the hard work off of your plate. InCorp is a viable option for dissolution services, thanks to its solid pricing model and price match guarantee.

That said, we know that InCorp won’t necessarily be the best option for every business. Let’s review all of the relevant features and attributes of InCorp and see if it’s the right choice to handle your company’s dissolution.

InCorp LLC and Corporate Dissolution Service Review

InCorp is a popular pick for dissolution services for a handful of reasons. Let’s quickly review its pros and cons before we dig into the details.

Pros

  • Strong dissolution service pricing model
  • Price match guarantee

Cons

  • Mediocre customer feedback
  • High price point for LLC formation service

The InCorp Dissolution Service Package

For $117 plus your state’s fee, InCorp will prepare and file your company’s dissolution documents with the relevant state government entity (usually the Secretary of State’s office). It’s not common to see companies throw in any bonus features with dissolution services, so it’s no surprise that InCorp doesn’t include any.

Overall Pricing and Value

InCorp fares reasonably well when it comes to pricing and value. At $117 ($99 + $18 for shipping), it has a solid price point for LLC and corporate dissolution services. In fact, MyCompanyWorks is the only company we’re aware of that can beat this price point, at just $99.

Track Record

InCorp was founded back in 1998. In the years since then, this company has served more than 250,000 customers. It’s a solid midsize company with enough experience to matter and a small enough client base to offer responsive support.

When it comes to customer feedback, InCorp doesn’t exactly excel. We only found around 200 reviews of its services, and while we did find more positive reviews than negative feedback, these reviews weren’t as overwhelmingly positive as some competitors’ feedback, with an average score of 3.5/5. In general, InCorp’s track record is acceptable but unremarkable.

Customer Support

InCorp’s customer service department is noteworthy in a couple of different ways. First off, we always appreciate companies with extended hours of availability, and InCorp’s 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. ET operating hours fit the bill.

Secondly, while some competitors outsource their support departments to faceless call centers (often in foreign countries), InCorp keeps its support in-house. Everyone who answers the phone for InCorp knows their stuff and is located in the U.S.

Ease of Use

The entire point of using a dissolution service is to close your business seamlessly with little-to-no effort on your part. InCorp fits the bill, as it’s simple to place orders, renew services, and navigate its website.

How does InCorp work?

The process of ordering LLC and corporate dissolution services from InCorp is simple. Here’s an overview of what you can expect when you click the “CORPORATE DISSOLUTION: CLICK TO ORDER ONLINE NOW!” button on the InCorp dissolution service page. Keep in mind that the process for dissolution can vary from state to state (and between LLCs and corporations as well), but for the most part, it will look something like this.

  • Entity information: First off, you’ll enter your business name, entity filing date, filing jurisdiction, entity type, entity ID number, federal employer identification number (EIN), the reason for dissolving, and the name and address of your entity’s registered agent.
  • Entity status and ownership info: Next, you’ll answer three questions about your company’s debts, liabilities, and assets. Then, you’ll enter some information about your business ownership group.
  • Contact and payment info: In this step, you’ll enter your name, phone number, and email address, then choose a password for your InCorp account. You’ll then provide your credit card info. Finally, select your shipping option and submit your order.

What are InCorp customers saying?

InCorp doesn’t compare favorably to some competitors in the realm of customer feedback. While some companies have thousands of positive reviews available online, we found less than 200 reviews for InCorp.

We averaged out the rating scores for 180 InCorp customer reviews and found that their ratings amount to roughly 3.5 out of 5. To be honest, we were a bit disappointed by both the quality and quantity of feedback, as InCorp’s top competitors also have higher average rating scores. For instance, here at ZenBusiness, we have 12,000+ positive reviews.

While InCorp has plenty of satisfied customers who praise the company’s customer support and low price points, there are also some who complain about inconsistent billing issues.

Our Final Thoughts

InCorp is a popular choice for LLC and corporate dissolution services. We appreciate this company’s reasonable pricing model and price match guarantee, although its customer feedback is less than impressive. While we realize that each business has its own unique needs and characteristics, we think InCorp is a viable option for LLC and corporate dissolution services.

Great customer service – thanks Ferrell!

I have used services from ZenBusiness for a few years now and I must say they have always been there to help me. Their customer service is always helpful and polite. Espeically today, a gentleman named Ferrell stayed on the phone with me for quite some time working through an issue. Even though it meant I would not be using one of their services, he gave me the support AND customer service I needed to help me resolve what could be a nightmare on my end. THANK YOU, FERRELL. You are a five star customer service representive!

Resolved!

*Edit* Rhianna has since reached out to me and was able to resolve the issue. Rhianna has excellent communication and has made sure to send a gift card out to me. I really appreciate this! I used zenbusiness because they had a promotion to receive a $50 gift card if you use their service. So I did. I never received the gift card and when I reached out to them, they said they’re no longer running the promotion and sent me a $10 gift card for Amazon as a “courtesy”. It’s not courtesy to give someone 1/5th of what was promised. I was told a manager would reach out and they never did.
